Simpsons 20th Anniversary Party
On October 18th Glimmer Body Art featured glitter tattoo designs with Homer, Marge and Bart at the Simpson’s 20th Anniversary Party in Santa Monica. Six glitter tattoo artists were kept busy at this red carpet event. Even Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson, couldn’t help getting decorated with her character in glitter.
This was Glimmer Body Art’s second event with FOX. The first was the Teen Choice Awards After-Party. Add elegant sparkle to your red carpet event with Glimmer Body Art!

LA Kings Game
Glimmer Body Art decorated LA Kings fans with customized glitter tattoos at the first game of the season at STAPLES Center on October 3rd. The special tattoos included the Kings logo as well as the crown. Fans were happy to show their team spirit with these shimmery images in black, silver and purple. Look for Glimmer Body Art in Bailey’s Fun Zone next time you’re at a game!

Nocturnal Festival
Glimmer Body Art glitter tattooed VIP guests of the Nocturnal Festival on September 26th in San Bernadino, courtesy of Insomniac Events. The tattoos were enjoyed for eight hours until 2am.

Glimmer Body Art provided entertainment at the Young Professional Mixer held by LAX Coastal Chamber on a Hornblower Cruise along the coast of Marina Del Rey on August 19th. The tattoos were well-received by guests who particularly enjoyed the customized anchor tattoo. The captain of the ship wore it proudly on his arm.

Hockey Fest 09
Glimmer Body Art was part of LA Kings Hockey Fest ’09 at LA Live on August 29th and 30th. The Toyota Sports Center, where the LA Kings practice, featured Glimmer Body Art as an attraction at its booth. Glimmer Body Art provided customized hockey tattoos and the PA announcer for the Kings made sure to get two—one on each arm—in Kings colors, purple, black and silver. The Kings Metal Ice Crew preferred to wear a single crown in a Kings’ color. Many fans celebrated their allegiance to the Kings with the color scheme while learning about what the Toyota Sports Center has to offer, including birthday party packages for kids with glitter tattoos by Glimmer Body Art.

Glimmer Girl on TV
Glitter tattoos by Glimmer Body Art were featured on Time Warner’s Local Edition TV show in Antelope Valley on August 12th. Glimmer Girl Nicci demonstrated the paint-on glitter technique by putting a colorful dragon on the arm of the show’s host. It looked amazing and he was thrilled to show it off.

Teen Choice Awards After-Party
Fox Broadcasting booked Glimmer Body Art for the Teen Choice Awards After-Party held at Jillian’s of Universal City on August 9th. After entering on the red carpet, the teens enjoyed shooting pool, bowling and playing video games but still made plenty of time to stand in line for their glitter tattoos. Four glitter tattoo stations had lines for the duration of the party. Groups of friends liked to choose the same design and all guests, no matter what age, loved to get even more glammed up at this fabulous party attended by celebrities with sparkly glitter tattoos, many choosing the customized Teen Choice Awards logo.

Bel Bambini
Bel Bambini, a high-end baby boutique in Beverly Hills, held a Customer Appreciation Day on July 19th to thank its customers for its success. Among the exciting store promotions Bel Bambini offered free glitter tattoos by Glimmer Body Art. They were a hit with all ages.

International Make-Up Artist Trade Show
Known simply as “The Show” to the make-up world, the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show held in Pasadena, California on June 20th and 21st brought together thousands of make-up artists, vendors, manufacturers and enthusiasts for the make-up world’s biggest gathering. Glimmer Body Art exhibited glitter tattoo techniques to fascinated make-up artists who wanted to do the tattoos themselves. They gave the glitter tattoos a new name—“make-up tattoos.” Due to IMATS, make-up artists are now venturing into holding their own glitter tattoo parties across the country.

VIP Party for Pete Carroll’s A Better LA
Glimmer Body Art hosted the Glitter Tattoo Lounge at LA Live’s Lucky Strike on June 18th, providing entertainment at the VIP party for Pete Carroll’s A Better LA. Guests enjoyed supporting the charity that helps change communities from within while kicking back in Lucky Strike’s glamorous lounge/bowling alley in the heart of LA and getting customized I Love LA glitter tattoos. Glimmer Body Art was a fun compliment to a great evening, proving that glitter tattoos are the perfect entertainment for lounge parties as well as Girls Night Outs and bachelorette parties.
